Shabbat morning services in Troy:
warm, welcoming, and no experience required.
Every Saturday morning, our doors open at 9:30 for a Shabbat service, whether you grew up in shul, haven't been in twenty years, or are walking in for the very first time.
You don't need to know Hebrew. You don't need to know when to stand. We use prayer books with side-by-side English translation, we announce page numbers throughout, and the service moves between Hebrew and English so you can always follow along. Sing the melodies you may not realize you already know, hear an idea from the Torah portion that stays with you into the week, and read the ancient words in a language you understand.
Following services, the entire community is invited to a full sit-down Kiddush lunch, good food, l'chaims and community!
